Context and Vision
At Saksoft, we take pride in contributing to the growth of the communities in which we live. Inclusive growth happens only when the under-privileged communities are empowered with knowledge, environment and skills to compete and contribute to the nation building. Saksoft efforts are aligned towards improving lives of these people and provide them the helping hand in a sustained manner to improve their livelihood.
Saksoft’s CSR will primarily focus on
- Eradicating hunger, poverty and malnutrition, promoting health care including preventinve health care and sanitation including contribution to the Swach Bharat Kosh set-up by the Central Government for the promotion of sanitation and making available safe drinking
- Promoting education, including special education and employment enhancing vocation skills especially among children, women, elderly and the differently abled and livelihood enhancement projects.
- Promoting gender equality, empowering women, setting up homes and hostels for women and orphans; setting up old age homes, day care centres and such other facilities for senior citizens and measures for reducing inequalities faced by socially and economically backward
- Ensuring environmental sustainability, ecological balance, protection of flora and fauna, animal welfare, agroforestry, conservation of natural resources and maintaining quality of soil, air and water including contribution to the Clean Ganga Fund set-up by the Central Government for rejuvenation of river Ganga.
- protection of national heritage, art and culture including restoration of buildings and sites of historical importance and works of art; setting up public libraries; promotion and development of traditional art and handicrafts
- Measures for the benefit of armed forces veterans, war widows and their dependents
- Training to promote rural sports, nationally recognised sports, paralympic sports and olympic sports
- Contribution to the prime minister’s national relief fund or any other fund set up by the central govt. for socio economic development and relief and welfare of the schedule caste, tribes, other backward classes, minorities and women
- Contribution to incubators funded by Central Government or State Government or any agency or Public Sector Undertaking of Central Government or State Government, and contributions to public funded Universities, Indian Institute of Technology (IITs), National Laboratories and Autonomous Bodies (established under the auspices of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology) engaged in conducting research in science, technology, engineering and medicine aimed at promoting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Tiara Haemophilia and Cancer Foundation – Saksoft participated in their ‘Gifts of Hope’ campaign and the Christmas program at Sri Ramachandra Hospital

Azad Foundation- Women on Wheels
Saksoft Limited is committed to promote women empowerment and gender equality and at the same time enchancing their livelihood, while being associated with Azad Foundation. The foundation is driven by the vision of a world where all women – in particular women from underprivileged backgrounds – enjoy full citizenship, earn a livelihood with dignity and generate wealth and value for all. Azad Foundation’s mission is to equip resource-poor women with knowledge and skills so that they excel as professionals and entrepreneurs and earn a “livelihood with dignity” in jobs. The flagship programme of Azad Foundation, Women on Wheels trains and prepares women with low economic and social capital to become professional commercial drivers, enhances their awareness of rights and provides them with opportunities of self- empowerment.
Swabodhini- School for Special Children
Saksoft Limited is committed on uplifting the differently abled persons of the society and uplifting their livelihood. Saksoft is associated with Swabodhini, a school for 50+ special children with autism and related challenges, imparts Functional Academics, Behavioural & Physical development, Social & Living Skills and Vocational skills.
SOS Children’s Village India
Saksoft participated in the clothes drive for the “SOS Children’s Village India” and continues to raise money for the contributions. The clothes were segregated and were distributed to Helpage India, non-government organization working for the cause and care of the disadvantaged older people since its inception.
At Vuyiroli
Chennai: Vuyiroli is an old age home in Chennai. Saksoft participated in the Christmas celebrations and engaged with the residents, played games and distributed cakes to all the members.
At Shankara Special School
Noida: A team from Saksoft spent time with the special children, conducted activities and presented them with a few educational aids.
